Rick is the founder of Producer Shed.  In 2000, Rick left the corporate world to pursue his  mission of filling the gap of the lack of Hispanics on American mainstream television. Rick's profession as a international business consultant led him to live and work across the USA and abroad.  As an alumni of the University of the Incarnate Word he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations and a Bachelor of Business in International Business Management.  In 2000, he decided to settle back in San Antonio to strategically establish a television and film production industry that would be inclusive of Hispanics on main stream television and enrolled at San Antonio College to study Television and Film Production.  To learn more of the why's and how's, click here.

Cynthia is serving as interim President.  She has vast experience in strategic planning for corporate leadership teams with expertise in Project and Salesforce Management, Public Speaking, Compliance, Event Planning, Labor Relations, Data Networking, Marketing, Fundraising, Business Development, Data Analysis, Process Improvement, Community and Government Relations. Cynthia is serving as the interim Preside of Producer Shed.

Alex is graduate of the University of Texas in Austin where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in theater.  She has experience in project management and budgeting. She is currently the theater director at Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District in Dallas, Texas.

Iris works for Hewitt Jackson as the marketing manager and is the founder of Mission Pawsible, a Corpus Christi non-profit dedicated to rescuing and finding forever homes for stray animals.

Javier Morales holds a Master of Science degree from Texas A&M University in San Antonio.  His undergraduate work earned him a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science from Athens State University with a minor in Sociology and Gender and cultural Studies and an Associates of Applied Science in Mental Health from Wallace State Community College. 

 

Mr. Morales advocated for Migrant Farmworker for more than 20 years working to enhance the lives of migrant farm workers and their children in various capacities including program director and parent educator.  He was the first Hispanic radio DJ for education development in Alabama. His advocacy work led him to become a grant writer. He founded a Alabama Non-Profit Housing Agency a 501c3 whose mission was to provide appropriate Farmworker Housing. Under his leadership the non-profit's first award was a $1.2miilion grant used to construct housing for the farm worker families. Mr. Morales was honored with the re-naming of the street in which the housing complex sits to Morales Drive.

 

He currently serves as an outreach coordinator and grant writer at Northwest Vista College in San Antonio, Texas.
