MIND FRUIT: Video production careers—whether in film, television, or online media—are driven by skills, not necessarily formal education. While most entry-level positions don’t require a college degree, these jobs serve as a powerful gateway to higher education and advanced roles in the industry. Many crew positions offer the flexibility to either join established organizations or work as independent contractors, providing unique opportunities to build a diverse career.
Lift Latinhearts is committed to changing the game by offering specialized workshops and skill training certifications in key production positions. Our hands-on programs will include internships with independent productions, giving students real-world experience and helping them build impressive resumes that set them apart in this competitive field.
We are focused on creating a new generation of skilled Texans ready to fill high-demand roles in the entertainment industry. By preparing them to work in studios, production companies, or on set with major independent productions, we aim to attract big-budget projects to Texas—creating well-paying,
long-term jobs that boost the local economy. Upon completing their internships, trainees will have the opportunity to either secure permanent positions in their chosen field or continue their education through our partnerships with institutions of higher learning. We will also offer after-school programs with special consideration for youth from low-income families, ensuring that talent has access to these opportunities, regardless of their background.
To earn certification, trainees must complete 100 hours of hands-on internship experience, giving them the skills and industry connections they need to succeed.
